Quality & Authenticity
Simple checks that help you buy and use medicines responsibly, wherever you shop.
Why buy from a legitimate pharmacy?
Counterfeit, expired or wrongly stored medicines can be harmful. A licensed pharmacy is expected to buy from licensed suppliers, follow prescription rules, keep records and give you a bill.
We encourage every customer, at every shop, to ask for a proper bill and to check the pack before leaving.
Our approach: we focus on responsible pharmacy practice and education. We do not make claims about guaranteed results, and we do not claim certifications or awards that have not been verified.
Quick checklist at the counter
- Seal and pack: intact, undamaged, clear printing.
- Name and strength: matches what was prescribed.
- Manufacturer details and batch number are printed.
- Manufacturing and expiry dates: do not accept an expired medicine.
- Price (MRP): printed on the pack. Ask for a bill.
- Storage instructions: follow what the label says.
Using medicines responsibly
Follow your prescription
Prescription-only medicines are for use on a registered medical practitioner's prescription only.
Check before you buy
Look at the pack, the label and the expiry date. Ask the pharmacist if something is unclear.
Take medicines as advised
Follow your doctor's instructions on dose, timing and duration.
Never change treatment yourself
Do not stop, change or substitute a prescribed medicine without asking your doctor.
Store safely
Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, and out of reach of children.
Speak up about problems
If something seems wrong, keep the pack and bill and speak to your doctor and the pharmacy. You may also report concerns to the State drug regulator or CDSCO.
What we do not claim
To be honest and transparent, this website does not make claims about guaranteed cures, guaranteed results, certifications or awards, and it does not say that all generic and branded medicines are interchangeable. If we later display any licence, registration or certification, it will be a real one that you can verify.
Want to confirm details? You are welcome to ask the pharmacy about its licence details when you visit. Please also see our Disclaimer.
